Hi all

I getting ready to get my old 914 up and running again, it's been sitting in my drive way for more years then I care to admit. It's a 71 with a 1.7 in it, with western mags wheels and a red white and blue paint job. It got smack in the rear end years ago, that why its just sitting in my driveway.
I spent the money to fix it on my daughter college fund instead of repairing it.
I think it was a Solo 1 car, it has a roll bar in it and no carpet. It sit lower then stock, so I think I has different springs and may have different sway bars also. I need to take pictures of it and of the odd rust spot I have on passenger side sail panel. I would like to autocross some day, but I am afraid it is way under powered to be competitive with the class it would be in.
I was part of this club years ago when I first bought it, But drop out when it was smack in the rear end.
Thanks Tony

The secret about the 914 is that it does not take a ton of horsepower to make the car go and have fun. Auto-crossing is about learning to drive the car efficiently to maximize the ability of the car. This could be a fun car. But of course we need pictures. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome.png)
