Seems like this has been discussed many times before and I think I gathered that you can use the CV joint part number 113 501 331 on a 4 in place of 914 332 029 03 with some modification. I was wondering what that modification was? I saw something about the pins but the complete modification was never fully addressed in the info I found.

They have to be machined/drilled to take the roll pin.
I think it is PMB that selles them already modified. Jim |

You have to drill out the roll pin holes. Considering it is a hardened steel carrier, it is tough to do. You can also buy them already setup for a 914 from Zims Autotechnic. 817-267-4451. They have them in stock. |

I had one in had and was trying to decide if I was going to hang on to it. Seem like it would be worth keeping.
