question regarding a 1971 1.7L engine and using it's parts in a 1973 1.7L?
Maybe the better way to ask is, what parts are not interchangeable? tins, blower motor, etc........ tks randal |

As long as you have the pressure sensor and control unit, it's a drop in. If you have the complete FI setup for the '73, you can swap it onto the '71 engine. '73s have a breather system on the heads, '71s don't. You can live without it.
