I was cleaning my engine mount bar and one hole looks like a square countersink and the other is shown below. This is the side of the mount bar facing the ground. Is this normal or is this a defective mount bar?
If this is normal, what fits into this recess?  |

Don't know why there would be a counter sink.
I would put a thick washer over it and use it. |
