The charts are not for a stock 914 transmission. They're for a 915, as used in the 72-86 911.
(Yeah, I know the 916s used 915 boxes--but they were prototypes, not series production cars.) The info jmill and poorsche provided is correct. --DD |

My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I seem to remember that the gear ratios (or final drive) was different for the -6 from the -4.

Yes, the 7:31 ring-pinion and the A/GA/O/V/ZA is correct.
Useless info of the day; If you have a sportomatic -6 they are: 7:27 ring-pinion, 15:36,20:31,24:27,28:24 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
