You may have explained it elsewhere, but briefly, what did you do to the targa bar??

You may have explained it elsewhere, but briefly, what did you do to the targa bar?? sure-- 1. using the targa top length as a guide we added metal on the top roll bar portion and matched the length of the top (ie the targa top usually overhangs the back edge of the roll bar, but on mine the two edges are flush) 2. dropping down on the sail panel from there, we extended the trailing edge of the sail panel to match the elongated roll bar--all with metal not filler---using the actual shape of the factory trailing edge chrome trim as a guide for shape. 3.welded in all other holes and squared off/filled in the transition area from the roll bar to the sail panel. i wanted to play with the car and build as if porsche had built it as a more expensive car..... |
