Its mine. i hate to sell it but i just don't drive it at all.. have other stuff going on with cars and racing and it deserves to be driven and cared for by somebody who USES it as it shoudl be. For the right person would be a helluva lot of fun. Bought it from another member here who poured his heart and soul into the build over many years. With 9 cars, (2 of them race cars) and 2 little kids and living in the country with chores and elderly parents to take care of... the 914 just probably will be better off with someone else. No matter what price i sell it for, i will regret selling it i know.

Steve.....Got a tip that my old car is for sale. Wish I could buy it back in a way as at times I miss it. Yes I put my heart and soul into it. I remember you saying how tight it was when you drove it on the test drive. Have you taken it to Laguna??
Yes fellow World members....that's my previous 914-6 conversion....any questions about the build I can answer them.....It is a deal for someone!!! |

Likely sell it at RRV. Not many people like caged racers, but I am one of them. |

I looked 4 years for the green Datsun truck... doesn't look like much, but i love that little truck! my little farm truck.
JT: Yep... I will be sorry to see it go. But i just don't get the chance to drive it much anymore and i need the space, and honestly it needs to be driven often and hard. THat is what it was built for. Its wasted in sitting in the garage. Its been well taken care of. I never got a chance to drive it at Laguna Seca, but many days at Thunderhill and a couple at Sonoma. And some good runs up through the hills here! It no longer has a full cage... because it was primarily a street car for me, i removed the cage. Still has the roll bar / harness bar. I also had a GT style front bumper / valance put on and i through in some stock style seats. Was trying to improve accessibility for my dad who loves to drive it. Have made no other changes mechanically / suspension, etc.. its as i bought it. Of course, the 2 IMSA bumpers, the race seats and all the wheels and everything else go with it. Its just as fun and fast as ever and turns heads like you remember! |

i like the 510 non-racer. my folks had one and that was the car i drove in high school. bought a 67' roadster when i was fresh out of the army. had a 520 p/u for years. drove it until all systems wore out at the same time and bought a 72' fasty.
