I'm about to order the cam for my conversion motor and I would like to know what you V-8 types are using. My engine specs so far are, 327 with stock double hump heads (1.94/1.50), Wieand stealth intake, stock carter AFB carb.

This is mine...
Suposedly from 2500 to 6500 power band. It's an Elgin "Pro Stock" Cam These are the specs on the box. DURN DUR. @ .050 CAM LIFT Valve Lift Lobe Centers IN Ex IN Ex IN Ex IN Ex IN Ex 291 291 218 218 0.303 0.303 0.455 0.455 105 115 The cam actually kicks in at 2200 though. Maybe earlyer (heck maybe even later) with an aftermarket intake manifold. Good drivability around town. torquey, but not over the top (ie 901 eater...) I think its perfect... |

I had mine on a little tiny piece of paper that came with my cam shaft when I got it but for the life of me, I cant find it now. Of course, if you have ever seen my garage you would know why. I got it from Rod Simpson he calls it the RSH2. The engine is very responsive to say the least. You can call Renegade and see what they recommend.
