If you are willing to do a drive down to North San Diego County, the definitive 914 mechanic is Mike Mulligan of Mulligan Racing Development.

You won't find a better 914 mechanic anywhere.

Another option is Robert at Dutch Treat in Manhattan Beach/Hawthorne/Lawndale. Knows the cars really well and very reasonable.
