My poor Fuchs were exposed to the spray of our sprinklers last year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . This is what they looked like.
I had tried to do this by hand but I couldn't rub fast enough or hard enough so I resorted to this: Only took about 25 mins per wheel. I painted the lug nuts to match the bead blasted ares on the wheel. |

Thinking about repolshing mine. What compound did you use? 3M polishing compound. Any automotive paint store has it Wow, they came out great! Amazing how that sprinkler water can ruin stuff so fast. Word! I didn't give it a 2nd thought until I touched them and realized it wasn't mineral build up but "pitting" which had begun to take hold! Yikes!
