My son is rebuilding a Nissan 240Sx He wants to put his starting battery in the rear trunk. I never liked relocating batteries. He may need to do this because the intercooler tubing will need to route through the former location of the battery. I would like to see him install a battery in the engine compartment and as I see it, only one of the small Lithium batteries will be a possibility.

So is anyone here using a lithium battery? What kind are you using and what has been your experience with it? I am concerned about the temperature range and the charging circuit.
