I was at HPH today and took some pix of my project. Still got a ways to go. So I added some more things to the list for Rich to think about. New things:
1. Front Sway bar
2. Door handles repaired and rekeyed.
3. New style renn-shifter.
4. Door limiter strap replaced on drivers side.

Does anyone know when the new style rennshifters will be available?

The drivers side door that I bought will note be required so that is up for grabs. Also up for sale is a running, non-smoking minimal leakage if any 1.7 and tranny that will be coming out of my car hopefully soon. If anyone is interested this can be test driven before the swap occurs.

Here are a few pix.

Don't even get me started about the merits of buying a race-ready car as opposed to building one of your own! I am the poster child for how not to do it. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif)

No, I have the bug (VW pun intended). This project will be finished soon, and the next one will be a bit wilder. We are considering going big six in a roller thats sitting around. My 73 is too nice to carve up, but I wouldn't hesitate to beat on the roller. It's a 74!
