I'm a new memeber here and I am having problems seeing this site. I use Netscape 4.8 to browse with and I cannot see most of the type on the page unless I highlight it. How can I change the type color or background color to see everything.
Any help would be appreciated

It will take a day or so.. but we can load a optional "skin" that you can choose.

Is Internet Explorer out of the question for you ?? Or do use Nutscrape for mail also ?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

You can download IE from the website I think for free. That'll solve all of your problems

Man I hate to say this, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) but...

This site doesn't work too well with Netscape (older versions anyway 4.7 or less). You will have much less problems if you view it with IE. Even if you get your color problems worked out, you'll find others.

Neither. More like "Hmmm... he's in Modesto. I wonder how many people his parents will let stay over for the Graffiti weekend??" We can bring camping gear and just use your lawn, if that's preferable?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's especially important for the classifieds. I believe we are sharing the databases. AND, if someone says "Hey, where can I get xxxx?" If someone is close they can tell them a local vendor. It's really to everyone's advantage to list your location.

If you're not into Microsoft products then Opera is a good choice. I think the version of Mozilla that we run at the office works fine as well.

Man I hate to be the lone dissenting voice but ... oh well.

I'm happily running Mozilla on a linux system with no problems.

You don't have to install the MS stuff if you don't want to. Mozilla also runs fine on both of my win boxes.

You don't have to use E if you don't want. The site looks fine with newer versions of Netscape. I regularly view the site using Mozilla (what Netscape is based on, but without the fluff). It's a free download if you want to upgrade.

Here's a direct download:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/release...1-installer.exe

There is also a lightweight version you can use if you have an older computer or don't need the extra features such as mail:

Like I said, earlier versions of Nutscrape. When we were testing the site early on before public consumption, the Netscape issues were apparent then. But the devlopement effort to overcome them probably weren't worth the work.

On any given day I may view this site from 3-4 OS's with 1/2 dozen different browsers and versions.

Whatever works fer ya!!!!!!!

YMMV!!!!!!!!!

And any other disclaimer you can possibly think of.

Well try it again with Solaris 9 and Netscape 4.6. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I don't really care as long as I can get it to work somehow, and I do, every day.

Works for me!!!!!!!!!!
