This orange car is offered for trade in North Richland Hills. I called and the owner said a couple of guys had already looked it over. I am not going to be able to make it until Friday but wanted to see if it was any of our members here that might have inspected this vehicle.

If you did I would love to hear their opinion before heading over myself.

Looking to see if it is worth the time or is it completely rusted out.

Given that the pic's do not show any of the common rust areas I'll bet it's a rust bucket.

Can't go until Sunday. Sorry. Pictures show a good project car. However. With FI missing it'll reallllly be 121,000 miles most likely. To much restoration needed for 21,000 miles.

Did he tell you that he was looking for 21K? I didn't know what he was looking for. I asked about the FI and he said he would be following up with the neighbor that sold him the car. Apparently it ran in the 90's based upon the inspection sticker. The neighbor was the 2nd owner. I asked about removing the rocker panels and he was not aware to look for additional rust in that area.

Why not just provide the VIN in the ad rather than later? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Floors are shot but the body is good and the doors fit solid. that's a relief. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) at least there's no rust in the shock towers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) how sellers can't be bothered to spend 10 minutes with a garbage bag and take the trash out of the car before taking pictures is beyond me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) prob nothing on the car that better than $15k and a few years, if the engine and transmission work, can't fix. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) there's rust everywhere. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) . better trade for something that goes BANG so your wife doesn't shoot you when you drag that pos home.

Attached Image Went by and viewed the car and took a number of pictures. I have lots more but it appears that you are going to want to be good at welding. It appears it was last registered in 95 in Louisiana.
