Hi Guys,

I'm swapping out my transaxle and one of the CV joint roll pins came out with the CV, and one stayed with the stub axle. I did a search on the site, but couldn't find any tips on how to remove. Suggestions? thanks!

Squeeze with drill chuck?

A keyed one would allow more pressure than a hand one of course.

GENIUS!!!

That worked great. I only had a hand chuck floating around, but I took a small diameter deep socket on an extension and got some leverage on the key which allowed me to get it tight enough. Then a few taps of the hammer as I spun it around and voila!

What did we do before the internet????

Thanks so much...

We used our ingenuity, preserverance, experience, and a little bit of mechanical genius to adapt and overcome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

But with the internet, we can use someone else's ingenuity!
