Man I'm sorry to see that.
There is one corner on my way to work that has a telephone pole just off the blacktop at the top of the turn, I don't want to see that pole like you did. Gonna fix it? On the pic you just need a photo editing program I think the windows guys like a free program called Irfanview or something like that. I just use iphoto on my mac. |

Whichever program you open pics on your computer should have a way to resize. The free program link on this site requires XP.
Glad you are alive to post! Hope you fix the car, nothing a little sheetmetal grafting can't fix. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sawzall-smiley.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/welder.gif) |

Im gonna try and fix her, but im waiting to see what the insurance company is gonna cover.
From the angle im at in my house I can't see the damage, so I just keep looking out the window at it, imagining that the damage isnt there, and I can go drive it whenever I want. The weather here is perfect today, if only I could go out there and drive my baby. |

Glad your OK ? Call Mark at Eurotech Bodywerkes 425-823-4282 Totem Lake , Kirkland ,WA.area
If thats the car Dan Root owned there should be some paperwork from them all ready for Hell Hole repair. He has done alot of 914 repairs,He owns 2 914's if that helps. He just got a new frame rack and some fancy sonar chassis alignment checking equipment. Mark has my car on his frame rack right now, same hit not as hard though. |

Real bummer. Good luck in fixing it. How bad is the suspension/body damage behind the front wheel? How did it happen?
You can resize in Paint that comes with windows. Go to Start>Programs>accessories>paint and Just load your pic, select image>stretch/skew and you can make it smaller, then resave as a new name so you don't step on the original. Spoke |

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/agree.gif) Yep, that's the one! There should be reciepts for $2700+ for the battery tray, susp console, engine tray ect fix from EuroTech. Have them do an estimate to fix it. Don't let this car go Steve, it has reall SSI's, is a 73' 2.0 car ect. It is worth good money. Fight to get it fixed. Sad picture to say the least. It is a nice car. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) If you need anything, let me know. |

You can still drive it. Co out and beat it out the best you can, If its too far gone, you can cut the fender off and still drive it. It just wont be pretty. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)
