To blow $3,000 on my car?

Seems I have (had) an un-needed life insurance policy. Granted I've already subtracted $1,000 for a new 2,0 engine, what else can I do? Maybe a paintjob? Switch to 911SC suspension? Go 5-lug? Supercharge the mofo? Ideas and suggestions apprecieated (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Hey I just drove the rootbeer car, it runs really strong. Had to fix the shifter and adjust the clutch but its nice now. Just need to replace the rear drop link buching and it should handle pretty good. I just talked to Clayton about it and I am going to post it up for sale today in the Classifieds.

I guess you could put ice cream on it? I think it would be better with a cherry though.

I should have clarified... to the extent of NOT getting another 914 roller. mine's pretty good... no hell-hole rust, longs are 100%, surface rust in a lot of places, trunk is 100%... Just got that damn dent on the left rear panel and the hole on the front right panel.

I almost looked into a 6 this morning :-O

I am very tempted to go 5-lug rear. I'll grab some cookie cutters maybe as a starter wheel set (oooh i long for the 911 Cup wheels).

More ideas! And no, i won't donate anything but time and/or parts to another's 914 project (money pit) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/tongue.gif)

The root beer car is not a roller, its a complete run, drive, stop car ready to go. Its in way better ocndition than your car is looks and all and you could get it for less than what you have to spend.

How about a big ass sound system with enough bass to set other people's car arlarms, or an air suspension that makes your car dance, or neon lights under the rocker panels, or....

...Or, think about what you like best about your car and make it even better.
