Not as much to make after the 914 run ended & VW factory started making the accessories & options directly.

IIRC they made the 914s' VW version AC, center storage with removable cushion, bumper overrider bars, rear luggage rack & pretty much everything else 914 in the old Porsche dealers' Accessory brochures (maybe some of the 911/912/912E stuff too).

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to add this.

VWoA moved the manufacturing of stuff to Fort Worth, Texas in 79. That's when my father started working for them, and moved us back to Texas. They made a lot of the VPC AC units for the 914, plus the Rabbit, Audi 4000 and 5000 AC units, and Vanagon AC units.

I have the original prototype of the Rabbit AC unit.
