are these buggers fused....? I am drawing a little bit more power from them to run some low wattage lights i have, but I was wondering if it was fused just in case my wiring job messed up and shorted out. I would sure HATE a car fire

I think the 12V is fused and pulled off the brake light switch. Going by memory here.

naw man...i see those wires coming from the center tunnel, not from the pedal cluster....but i assume *SOMEWHERE* that it gets fused.

Well that's true, but thats where the wiring harness is. If the red/wht wire is the one you're talking about see the diagram

That's the one that get's 12v off the brake switch.
