Dr. Evil has done the rebuild on this box.
It was shipped back to the PO in 5/2014. I just took it out of the shipping tub last week. The PO never got around to assembling his '71. So now all his new parts are being sold. The Doc was not sure what he did to this box, but we do know he went thru it. If you know the Doc's work, you know he would make it right, so chances are this baby is ready to go. $ June discount.... How about $450 plus shipping? I promise that the INSIDES look better than the outside. The PO nor Dr. Evil (and I can't blame him) cleaned this box. I will leave that to the new buyer. But look closely and you will see that the Doc added new shiny SS hardware as he usually does. It might be important to some.... A word about the one photo of the serial #. I know the PO got 2 trannys with this car. He might have shipped them both to the Doc. The Doc may have used the alternate box. I have no idea if this serial # is from a '71. You now know what I know, questions are welcomed. Clark |

Presentation makes a good impression. If I rebuilt that, I would clean it up to represent my work...but then, maybe the price does not include that. If it were me, I would clean it up for a better "first " impression. Just my .02 Free bump, good luck with your sale. |

Blizzard mentioned that too. Since Doc Evil is not usually selling what he works on there is no incentive for him. Not sure about the PO's motivation. I should have the incentive... But it is currently in a barn with no running water. I would have to load it up and take it to my house.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) |

are you talking photo-graphic talk, or the reverse light switch on the tranz??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Cause I think both would be true. The back up light switch. Original ones are $80 new. They get smacked by the CV's when the trans is getting puled and usually damaged. Thanks for the bump on my ad but if someone is converting they need to convert that trans to a side shift to use what I am selling. You would need the shift console, shift rods, and optionally the tail cone. You can plug the tail shift rod hole in that tail cone and use it. Still a good deal for a rebuild. Bruce |

Bruce Right, you have the external stuff. and I might be able to help with the internal stuff. I have a few operationally questionable side shifters too. I am becoming a horder... It does take some parts to convert. WOW. |
