Did anybody else have trouble taking the 4 allen bolts out that hold the steering coloumn on? I cant seem to get them off. Are they just torqued super hard or what?
Also is there bolt under the center of the cowl that hold on the metal dash? Ive gotten all of them on the interior(i think) and the two that are the far left and right of inside the trunk. So is there another? |

center, if i'm not mistaken, might even be two there (4 total) ... the 4 bolts for the steering column are just torqued down hard, don't snap 'em off! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) Andy |

the bolt that retains/clamps the wheel assem to the steering shaft must be completely removed. there's a indenation on the shaft that cradles the bolt and you can't pull the wheel and column if it's still in. just loosening isn't enough.
