cant get the pics up Looks like a cut down 911 reflector to fit in between 914 tailights. The aftermarket reflector made for the 914 has a black border and is not cut down. it doesn't look like it is cut down has part # on end |

That is a cut down 911 reflector. .
it has the reflector rectangular end panels partially cut off to fit the 914 spacing. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) There was one aftermarket one made for the 914 and you can tell because: 1) it fits better 2) is outlined around the edge is dark 3) only has mounting studs on the ends This is a aftermarket one and before anyone asks, no it is not for sale (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Attached thumbnail(s) |

I'd pay about $20 for either version, just to hang in the garage and never to install on a 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Exactly what I did with mine. Removed from car and hanging in garage.

I see these go for $100 - $120, though sometimes one will sneak through cheaper.
There was one on my car when I bought it. I didn't like it, and it had a couple of hairline cracks, so I took it off. Of course, it broke when I removed it. Now I'm stuck with the 6 big a$$ holes in the rear panel, and wish I had just left it on. Gary |
