you *did* make a link (or someone fixed it for you...) but here's how. you cut and pasted the URL, right? you already know the hard part. to post a link, highlight and copy the URL (like you did). click the "http://" button. when the dialog comes up, just paste in the URL. the dialog comes up with "http://" highlighted so when you paste, that will get replaced - that's what you want. the box pre-fills it in case you just want to type in a URL you know rel well. click OK. then type in how you want that link to appear in the text. "Link To Car" perhaps. if you're feeling especially uninspired, you can paste the URL in again, which is how this one looks right now. click ok. ta da, done. |
