I switched to the original Fuchs and Pirelli 6000 tires. I still need to fit the center caps

Good move. Nothing beats them. The others do look good on a Bug.

195x65x15 or 205x60x15 look and work well on our cars. Clearance shouldn't be a problem with Fuchs.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif) 914rubber has some center caps that won't send you to the poor house.

That looks amazing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

And, no- the fuchs (on the 4 cylinder cars) never came with black on them from the factory.

You have a nice original car, nice to see the Empi style wheels gone, personally I don't like them on the 914 or VW anything (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .
Well done (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)
