Yes crazy. And to think about 15 years ago I could have bought a 1958 speedster that was completely original with about 48,000 miles on it with original paint top and interior for 75,000 dollars. It was only about 5 miles from where I work. Seemed like a lot but for what it was still was not too unreasonable. 6 years ago we were looking again and decided on a complete project car and ended up paying 75,000 AND had to ship it here from Massachusetts. It is insane how quickly the market can rise for the speedster, which was the cheapest Porsche you could buy at the time they were new.
