I purchased my Bahia Red over Black vinyl 914 from the second owner in 2014 (he had owned it since 1974). It was not running but had been kept in dry storage since 1986. We spent quite a lot of money with a VW specialist getting it refurbished mechanically to include all new braking system (except hard lines, which are in good shape), new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing; and new fuel lines. pump and rebuilt injectors. The car also got a new set of Continental all-season tires. It is currently wrapped in 3M Automotive vinyl in Gloss Red. It is a nice driver, but could use a body restoration eventually. I am asking $8500. Payment to be made in cash or cashier's check drawn at my bank.
