Reinstalling my center counsel, i have a left over wire and don't know where it goes.
Its black with blue dots and has a very small female spade fitting. Labled all of them and all the bigger fittings seemed to match up . When i ran the car awile the volt gauge worked but the temp never moved. Any ideas? I |

Black with blue stripe should be instrument light power. If you've got an additional wire that's black with blue dots, that sounds like the PO added something somewhere.
As for the temp gauge, it takes a while to register. Make sure you've got a good connection to the sender in the taco plate and that the wire is connected securely to the green wire in the protective plastic case under the battery. If all looks good and you still don't get any movement after about 15 minutes of driving, you'll need to check the sender or gauge. Enjoy! |

Sounds like the power for the square defrost indicator.

Ok, when seats go in next weekend ill be able to drive it, that should get it hot enough to regester on the gauge.
