well right before WCC, i started poking around in the engine compartment and found a shit load of bondo in there covering up a rust HOLE. the weird thing about my car though, is that the PO made a home made battery tray and moved it back about 4-5 inches, so it didnt rust out the hell hole, but umm the place in front of it. heres when i removed it, and yes i fixed up the other rust too, it was just surface rust except for on little hole.

test fitting, and yes i did take a grinder to the welds. I will post a pic of the welded in piece in the morning. oh yea, i finally got the engine back in after about 6 months. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
