emailed the seller, no reply, Seems a little fishy. Would think a LE with only 65K would be worth a lot more.

Those hood badges attached to the door panels look like early orange bar badges worth $500 each minimum if original.

I remember that car was for sale at 20th Street Auto in Phoenix about 11 years ago. I ID'd it for Jeffs Can Am Registry. It did have all the tell tale signs.
http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...c=40857&hl= From the PM I sent to Jeff 11 years ago... QUOTE Chassis num = 1059519 Paint code = L041 Manf.date = 3/74 VIN = 4742915431 Its not in your registry.... Yet smile.gif Grey headlight covers Original Spoiler has the brackets and the round things on the ends (as pictured on your site) Targa trim is black, but could have been painted. Hints of yellow on the wheels and in the rockers. I know it had a front sway bar, never checked the rear at that point I was sure it was an LE. |

I've been researching Triumph GT6s lateley (love the design) and because of that I've learned a bit about spitfires too. Appear to be fun little cars! |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Those are all interesting cars but are totally unrelated. Maybe you should buy a Boxster? They are great fun (I have two) and you can get a nice one if you shop around. |

Other interests have just very recently popped up and I'm doing my research. Yes, they are all quite unrelated and have almost nothing in common other than one thing, rust, lol. I've never been a fan of the boxter for some reason...the Cayman on the other hand I would consider. I guess in general, I don't really like rag tops. I owned an Eclipse Spyder in my early 20s and it was fun, but I prefer coupes and targas these days. |
