Every now and then my 1.7 seems to be only running on 3 cylinders ,very sluggish and lack of power. The car is running on FI but also did this when it had carbs. If you park up for a while it seems to go back to normal and run well for another while
Any ideas
Thanks Brian

Since it did it on carbs and still does it on FI, sounds like you can rule out a fuel problem. That pretty much leaves ignition and valves. When was the last time you did a basic tuneup? Might be time for new points and condenser, and a valve adjustment.
