I've got a '74 2.0 that is becoming increasingly difficult to get into 4th. I find it easier to put into 5th, and then up into 4th. Would a clutch adjustment solve this problem?

It seem to me that if the clutch needed an adjustment, it would be hard to get into all gears. Sounds like 4th gear is taking a dump. Syncros, maybe? A transmission expert will chime in shortly
