Are the Bilstein jacks that came on the 73-76 able to be disassembled? I don't have one and can't tell from pictures if they can be torn apart and repainted/plated. Anybody?

Probably pry them off to remove the shaft. Not sure about the plastic piece that indicates up/down on the handle.  |
