Are the Bilstein jacks that came on the 73-76 able to be disassembled? I don't have one and can't tell from pictures if they can be torn apart and repainted/plated. Anybody?

Looks like on the bottom of the pad area there are small medal clips that are bent. Probably pry them off to remove the shaft. Not sure about the plastic piece that indicates up/down on the handle.
