well took my baby in for a little checkup turns out my front struts are shot and leaking badly...question I have for you gurus out there is what is the best choice for my situation..I don't track or auto X my car but I like getting on the windy roads and doing a little canyon carving...do I stay stock (Bilstein? B6 or B8?) or is it prudent/worth it to go with the Vons street inserts (much more $$$)...any other input appreciated...

For casual use Bilsiten should work fine. I believe mine are B6.

I have fresh Bilsteins on my 76 and it handles great. These cars are just great in handling department. I do not think you need to spend more money.

All the new Boge/Sachs are gas now. Koni Classic is the only hydraulic shock left.
