Guys,
What are the absolute best brakes that can be shoehorned in the standard Fuchs' 2.0 rims? I currently have 320 fronts and stock rears. The pedal feels awful, but they work. Is there a better set-up for the standard rim? Thanks! |

what you have should stop the car FINE, if everything is in good working order.
check your pads, rotors, MC, brake lines, bleed bleed bleed and you'll stop. |

Nathans right. Stock brakes are more than enough to lock up all 4 wheels at speed. Check your calipers, get some good brake fluid, and some high quality pads. I'm running Porter Field R4 pads and they haul the car to a stop pretty quickly. You'll be amazed at the difference in your brakes if they are working properly. Stainless steel brake lines help will also help firm up pedal feel.

If you are using a 17mm MC that may give you quite a bit of extra pedal travel with those BMW calipers up front. A good bleeding can't hurt. Aside from that maybe bracing the MC if it is flexy (gives poor pedal feel). Pad compound.
