I’m looking for stepped up pins so I can increase diameter of mating hole in case but use unaltered bearing.

What is the fix for a worn dowel / case? I’m going to try a new dowel but I’m expecting it to be less than a tight fit.

On the type one case I machine drill it oversize for a press fit aluminum plug, then drill it to dowel size and finish it off by line bore the case for OS bearings.
