Hi,

Decided to do a daily driver/weekend fun conversion. I'd really enjoy picking the enormous brains that have successfully done this. Thanks very much.

There's more than a couple of guys here that have done it - start digging and you'll find all the info you need. Any idea of engine/trans combo you want to go with? They're all here....

Start seaching and you'll see a lots of Subaru conversion threads.
You should drive an hour north and meet up Kent (76-914) he did all of his own work. Has AC too. Super knowledgeable and hands on.

No reason to pick the brains of people who have done it, tons of documentation on this site for all the guys that got the tee shirt

BTW (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome.png)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) If you are close to Kent go see him or see if you can meetupz at an event. Very knowledgeable on the conversions he did his, it is running, and well has gotten through a lot of the pit falls. Would be worth the drive and paying for a drink or two, and maybe a sandwich or food of choice.
