I'm 99% sure this hole was drilled for the fuel pump relocation to the steering rack area. I'm moving the pump to under the tank with a late model access cover but want to check with the geniuses here before welding that hole shut. Holes circled in red were drilled for sheet metal screws to mount the pump. Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Weld it up. The mount for the pump should be on the back of the inspection plate. I'd put that access hole in if you haven't already.

Thanks! Cutting the access opening is on the long list. Just need to retrieve the access plate from a storage bin to size and locate properly.
