I've read that term "rabbit flare" before. Are rabbit flares something that gets welded on or are they formed from the existing fender? As in "VW Rabbit" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

Are rabbit flares something that gets welded on or are they formed from the existing fender? All metal flares are welded on, there are no complete fender stampings. Below are pics of a 914 with VW Rabbit flares welded on: (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-2-1143059264.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-21-1134368460.jpg) |

Hand formed out of sheet metal without a doubt. Nice that they were made to fit the GT rockers & bumpers.
