Hey guys and gals, car is a '73 2.0 2056 with D-jet, car idles great upon start up and normal driving but disappears after hard driving or freeway drive which warms things up a bit. Fuel pump moved up front. Any ideas out there? Thank you very much.

It’s the heat and the CHT, I have see this in my 2.0 d-jet as well before changing the CHT, you could add more resistance in line with the CHT. I did a potentiometer in line and could adjust it and see how much resistance I needed to have a steady idle when hot.
Then you can measure that an add fixed resistance to that value in place of the pot. Phil |
