That has the potential to be a nice engine. I'm no Subaru engine expert, but it soudns good at least. It does however sound like it would require a LOT of tuning and Subaru engine knowledge to get it to work well.

They aren't all that difficult to tune. There are a number of shops that have the base programs and a dyno to tweak the settings. Especially the 04/05 sti engine since its throttle by wire..
