Pondering adding NACA ducting to rear deck lid for additional cooling of a radiator.

Already figured out the exhausting of said cooling air. Just don't know it the air off the targa roof would reach ducts or flow over.

NACA ducts work best with laminar attached airflow, like on a front hood for example. The rear decklid area on a 914 has turbulent flow due to the dropoff after the roof, so I wouldn't think it's the best place for a NACA unfortunately.

Always thought NACA or something similar in the sides/wings of targa bar, would help direct airflow to the engine.

Unless you have laminar flow, NACA is a waste. May as well attach one of those roof scoops from the Baja Bugs.
