What are the most common reasons for the tachometer not to function on a 74 2.0 Make sure it has power and ground. Then check the wire between the tach and the coil for continuity. (Black with a purple stripe). Make sure the black with a purple stripe is connected to the negative side of the coil. If all that checks out, send it out for repair or get another tach. |
