Bummer - I just called CoCo mats and tried to order a set of their original design mats for my car in their green color......nope, we don't offer it. But you can get the Checker style mat in the green. I don't think I want that- it's too much green. Bummer! Now what do I do for a good floor mat? I really do not want a carpeted mat as they just get dirty and show the dirt. What do you guys think? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Every year the wife and kids ask me what I want for Christmas. I hate getting poop I don't want or need. This year I've already asked for cocomats.

Why not get something neutral like black/natural, black/taupe, grey/light grey, etc?

Depends; what color is the car, interior, and carpet?
If I had no choice, I would get a coco mat same color as the interior.

Get the Sisal mats that CoCo makes in Brown #47 but get the heel pad in black and have them trim the edge in black they would look great in your Irish Green car.

The new ones don't last. BTDT with my "99 Suburban. The ones in Reinhold have lasted & continue to last like there's no tomorrow. The fiber in new ones just doesn't stay together.

So my car is Irish Green with Black interior. I do not think the tan color mats would go with that. The carpets are the typical greyish ones that came in the cars when new. So maybe a grey mat? I really just wanted to add a little color to the interior. I will look at the other types of mats CoCo makes.

@Cairo94507 Michael, I think your carpet is so perfect that you don’t need to hide. Or maybe just buy an extra carpet same on what you have that you will just swap it when your car is on display or during car show.

I appreciate that. But knowing me, since I have been and will continue to drive the car, I want to get a set of mats that I do not freak out about dirty feet. The stocks mats in the car are pretty flimsy so I need to get something heavier. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I had the same problem.
Got the 50th anniversary mats from Pelican for $125. Just couldn’t get those green checked ones.

So is it possible to get the ones just like in your picture? What is Reinhold? Thank you very much.

He's the car. His mats are really old & continue to stay together. The new ones that I bought for the Suburban started to fall apart after three or so years. Both sets are/were "genuine" CoCo mats.

Thanks, they look vintage but are quite modern- back in the old days, sisal mats were not rubber backed & these are. I wanted coco mats but everyone said go with sisal because they last longer, 13 to 14 years ago. Appears they were right (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

You could go for the Fern Stripes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I would do black with white weave regular Coco mats.

I had them in my 914 and they were great. They sent me paper and I did my own design on the passenger side, they are really good in that respect.

I have Coco mats in my 911 now, I dig them!!!

Try the black/white?

Lawrence - Amazing, I was actually looking at the black white combo. Gotta get the wife's opinion too.
Thanks and hope to see you soon.

I will post a pic of my car tomorrow with the black/white mats.
Personally I would buy the black mats then take them to a upholstery shop and have them stitch green thread that matches your color around the edges.
