Those allen bolts holds the strut and it will change the alignment. That is where it is being align.

Right allen bolts don’t know why I said nuts, so I’m assuming once you remove them it will slide or something even if you don’t move anything. Just asking cause I’ve never had to remove these before. Thanks |

Yes, they will move. Will need to be re-aligned even if you mark it.

Are you planning to change your insert from the strut? If yes, you can just unbolt the center nut by using an impact wrench.

I have found IF you leave care firmly on the ground you should be replace the front first and the rear second. This is assuming you have the replacement parts BEFORE you start. Weight of car should keep strut bearing in place.

Take out one bolt at a time and replace with another 10mm bolt and you will not have to worry about realignment. When you do replace them permenatly use new Schnoor washers.
