I know that early D-Jet Manifold Pressure Sensors (MPS) were riveted together. At some point, did Bosch change over to using screws instead of rivets? If so, about when did that happen? I found pictures of both, but nothing on if/when the change occurred.

I tried searching for the answer here, but wasn't able to find anything.

Thanks!

AFAIK screws are a sign that an MPS have been opened.

If rebuilding one, not sure I would trust rivets to hold a good seal.

They came BOTH ways from the Bosch factory. My guess is they swapped over to screws to make it easy to repair them. NO time frame for when this happened.

Agreed
I’ve had both styles too
And some with original paint marks on the screws
