 How can you tell if you have SS exhaust manifolds? |

I have a set of 2.0L heat changers. I think they’re SS but not for sure, how can i tell? I have tried sticking a magnet to the outside of them and it doesn’t stick. Thanks

If they're shiny, there's a decent chance they're SS. If they don't have rust holes, there's a decent chance they're SS.
If a magnet doesn't stick, they are definitely SS. I can't see if they are 1.7 style or 2.0 style, though. --DD |

Not to be picky, but those aren't exhaust manifolds; they are heat exchangers. And yes, they appear to be stainless steel.

The SSI's use the same diameter pipe for both types. You just need to use the correct matching muffler and muffler bracket. |
