I saw a yellow 914-6 on Bring a Trailer today. Is that George R's 914-6?

That's a nice complete car in good shape. I think it may need a repaint due to some paint issues. Regardless, a good buy for someone looking for a real 6. I wish George good luck with the sale. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Yes, it is mine. As shown in other pictures, the paint is starting to have issues (39 years after a repaint with a catalyzed enamel). If I’d be able to still drive the car, I’d have it repainted (but then wouldn’t be selling it either). I just had the engine professionally rebuilt because of worn valve guides to give a solid car.

I think it’s very desirable because it’s not too nice to drive. GLWTS

Same, think my 20+ year owned 2.0 is going soon, need to thin the herd a bit. Curious on the experience.

I'll be adding a couple of older Porsches to the Bring A Trailer queue in the coming months. One the 71 six conversion I just finished and the other a 73 911 hotrod.
