Aloha,
My god...that's an expensive shifter! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Talk about price shock for a VW guy. ~Joel |

If you have lots of time and engineering/fab experience, you could probably adapt a cable shifter to the car. I have seen it done with 930 trans and maybe 915's, but not sure if anybody has pulled it off for the 901.
I'm all over the Wevo when I can get my hands on one. |

A member of our dutch club has succesfully converted his tailshifter to a cable shifter
The shifting mechanism of a Hyundai Scoupé fits the 914 gbox with very little modification I was just browsing some of my bookmarks and stumbled upon this site: www.seqshift.com That would even be better! Ah... dreams (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) cheers, Jeroen |

Aloha,
Wouldn't one of those sequential shifters remove the ability to heel/toe shift the car? Even more expensive than the first one (WEVO) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) ~Joel |

Freak, what kind of shifter are you looking for? Short shift kit, cable shifter, big gnarly 8-ball shift knob, something else?
