Sold

This is a very complete and very good condition 1975 Chassis Wiring harness
it was removed with care, and was not cut

I cleaned it with simple green and a damp rag...
I was attempting to examine the harness for damage and did find 7 items I'll point out.

they are marked with blue tape, and are not serious... but in need of repair.
things like damaged insulation, or a terminal pulled off/broken

the wire is not brittle... I'm not going to claim its as good as new... its taken a set and shape to how it was laid into the vehicle. but no wires crack, or break when bent, and do have some flexibility.

most of the grommets are in tact and in very useable condition
the firewall snorkel does have a tear in it and ideally would be replaced before use.

all factory wiring... I think there are 2 non factory terminals that could be replaced with factory style.

One of the terminals on the fuse board was loose... when I pulled it I found the terminal broken... someone "over tightened" this terminal causing it to crack
other terminals on the fuse board connections should be examined and tightened or inspected for over tightening.... I did not pull all of the fuse connections to check

one of the round relay plugs on the fuse board was un-snapped from the board. It looks like in an attempt to re-attach it to the board, someone has cut some of the base down with a knife... I believe it will not show when its reconnected... some black silicone or glue would help with the reconnection

the seatbelt lock mounting point for the relay was bi-passed, or "jumped" by connecting the 2 large yellow wires leading into it. The insulation damage is shown, a little heat shrink would work well, but I left it as is for photos.

Overall... an excellent harness. very little damage. Very useable. very complete

its going to be heavy to ship
right now it sits nicely into a milk crate.
so will need about the same size box (maybe 18 x 18 x 18 square) It is heavy...
I'm guessing 40 in shipping... due to weight.... but that is only a guess

happy to get additional pictures or questions
tried to capture all sections of it in these pictures
wires retain good color, and flexibility.
photos I took start at one end (back) and trace through to the front section

I'm asking $300 + shipping (actual)

USPS Large Flat Rate Priority Box is $21.50. I found this is usually the best rate.

Update,

I think I'm missing some of the seatbelt relay wiring.
and I think I just found it.

I'll put pictures in the thread

honestly there may be an Ljet connector or two... I just don't know for certain what these connectors (pictured) are.

The silver box is a speed limiter that would plug into the fuel injection harness. The rest of the stuff looks like a VW cooling fan harness.
