I am in need of the hex-head set screw (bolt, actually) that is at the rear-end of the trans...... if you kneel down at the back of the car, under the bumper, you will see the back end of the transmission...... I need the hex-head bolt that locks the speedo angle drive in place
It has a hex head, short length of thread, and a pointed end. The pointed end is just the right length to fit into a small divot in the part of the angle drive that gets shoved into the trans. This bolt keeps the angle drive from moving. So..... only sell me the bolt if you do NOT intend on someday getting your car to run with this transmission..... bad things would happen and you would curse my name, BuddyV. (actually, the speedo drive would probably just slip out and you would drip gear oil..... nasty!) But..... if you happen to have an old transmission hanging around, and you have this part..... I would give it's life purpose. Or I can pay $19 online to get a used one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) thank you, World! Feel free to text me or message me with your price (I'm sure I will say yes). Robert Cell: (707) 888-1857 |
